of the library of that institution. He is also guest professor at the
Presbyterian Seminary of Mexico since 2003, as biblical consultant as a guest at

This is the second visit to the SET and he wanted to say “I estimate the
students’ interests; even though I had to make a one-week-condensed
course and that was a very difficult task. We dealt with the classical
introduction subjects: author, place, addressee, structure and content of the
New Testament. We have also studied the theological lines of each book. I tried
to link these contents with the preaching and teaching task and other subjects I
have in mind were the cultural manifestations linked to biblical and
theological themes, for instance Jude’s Gospel, Da Vinci Code and popular
religiosity. I attempt to give the tools for exposing the works or the posters
related to such a theme and so to show the falsity such things sold together
with these products.
Referring to his future work engagements where he is working nowadays, he said:
“I am also concentrated in a book about Diaspora; that means the
dispersion in the Old Testament, Intertestament and the New Testament. I wish
to approach some action ecclesial and pastoral lines for churches en the
minority situation; there it is worked lots of analysis of biblical texts. It
is a really fascination for me. Besides, I work another book assembling a
collection of plays for Christmas and a third one which is an updating of my
Doctoral Thesis about the semiotic analysis of Luke’s Gospel.
