THIRD MEETING OF THE MASTERY PROGRAM

The third meeting of the Mastery Program of the academic year 2007-2008 took place 19th to 30th May 2008 at the Seminary. In this occasion, the students had the subjects “Anthropology and Exegesis of the Gospel of St.John” taught by Master Daniel Montoya Rosales; “Methodology of Researching”, given by Alina Camps Iglesias and “Philosophy and Moral” given by Dr of Philosophical Sciences Luis R. Lopez Bombino. He is also Master of Educative Psychology and Professor of Moral Philosophy, Education and Values and Science and Technology Ethics at the University of Havana.

About this subject, Professor Bombino said: “The subject tries to explain what the Ethics as Moral Philosophy is, what the Ethics as behavior is, a person’s moral acting. We explain the theoretical ethics –professional, applied and we also go to the education of values: such as the different positions in Latin America and a whole set of propositions: “how to educate in values and how to focus the moral education. The value crisis is not necessarily negative because “crisis” means breakdown and continuity of social and moral values. As loss and alternatives, loss as oxygenation...

It is important to know that values have always dialectically existed; they have always existed in a process of developing genesis, of developing of caducity and incorporation to the moral process of the Human beings.

I have enjoyed a lot the quality and the warm of the people I have met at SET. The students of the mastery are very concerned and they really are thirsty for knowledge and those are the values: “to develop the motivations”
